If you love terasses as much as we do — but struggle to stay outside because it’s freezing in Paris — then this pretty bar/restaurant, with its indoor garden in the 6th arrondissement, could be the perfect place for you.

Completely renovated in 2015 by architect, artist and decorator Lola Gonzalez — who was awarded France’s prestigious Meurice Price 2016 and nominated for the Prix Ricard in 2017 — Alcazar invites you into a lush urban jungle, with a spacious dining room, chic alcoves and a hip mezzanine, where you can eat, socialise, and sip signature cocktails after hours — all completely covered by a huge, glass roof.

The aim here is to make each and every guest feel at home, thanks to its simple concept and stylish furnishings of rattan, marble, brass, flower prints, and red, gold and velvet antique fixtures, mixed with a convivial atmosphere and modern catering — serving you tasty fare made from fresh, French products, in an idyllic setting and with a tropical touch.

On its varied menu, you’ll find everything from onglet de bœuf, with béarnaise or pepper sauce and homemade fries, to a fish dish of cabillaud spiced with lemongrass and ginger, to vegan bowls filled with veggie tagine, quinoa and finished with orange flowers — and don’t forget the desserts! A selection of pavlova, creamy vanilla millefeuille, and chocolate mousse — or a delicious and light Norwegian omelette creation made from vanilla, flambéed raspberries and Grand Marnier sauce.

Combining culture, gastronomy, refined décor, and an electro music soundtrack for ambience, this restaurant gives you the opportunity to enjoy classic, local cuisine (and a few exotic recipes too!) in a trendy, contemporary setting, and in any kind of weather — for lunch, dinner… or our favorite part of the week — Sunday brunch.

Their brunch is organised every Sunday in collaboration with La Guinguette D’Angele — so it’s a great option for good grub and a healthy weekend feast with friends.

Having a big party? Alcazar also offers its private lounge for events — a fully privatised space in the centre of its restaurant, and right in the heart of Paris — so it’s perfect for all types of gatherings, from family meals, to birthdays and product presentations; or even a classy meeting and meal with your customers or employees.
